I started off as a fine artist, then I went graphic, now I am virtual/ augmented and I develop apps in Unity.
Vaidehi Bhargava (York, 1993-) is a 2017 graduate of Central St Martin’s MA in ‘Applied Imagination in the Creative industries’. She is a traditional artist who pivoted (during the pandemic!) into the digital art world.
She is of Indian origin, has lived in Mumbai and Beijing and now resides mainly in London. She is interested in how technology can facilitate a ‘creative flow’ between living creatures (such as humans and animals) and contribute to a more exhilarating and connected life.
I am a featured artist on the XR 'youtube' styly, with over 100 AR and VR experiences, that you can try for yourself! https://gallery.styly.cc/artist/Vaidehi_Bhargava/scenes I am currently working on stealth projects with top London and international musicians focusing on extended reality 'visualisations' of their music. Within 2 years of starting XR, I won a prize for my Styly xmas vr world (with flying reindeer) alongside longstanding members of the VR Art community. I have been featured in the respected 'VR art live' magazine for a mona world I made, which I then recreated in virtual reality in Styly, making me the first Mona builder to have their world available in VR. I have collaborated with Animoca brands to do a VR art performance at their London Launch party, as well as the NFT event planning company, NFT Soho. I recently did VR /3D world projections as well as live 'dance' creation (aka dancing and drawing in VR) at ArtSect gallery alongside the respected international Artist Katya Kan. I am booked for further live performances at concert venues in the UK. I have also been collaborating with the reknowned VR artist Ewan Rose for boundary defying VR art creation 'theatre' twitchstreams. I have been featured in the leading XR publication 'the Immersive Wire' as well as been part of an expert panel on the 'metaverse' during the launch of a book on XR from bestselling XR author, Tom Ffiske.
